About Lori and Translators without Borders
In 1993 Lori Thicke co-founded Traducteurs sans frontières (TSF) along with Ros Smith-Thomas, her partner in Lexcelera (Eurotexte Group). With hundreds of volunteers from around the world, TSF provides free translations to humanitarian organizations.
Since 1993 TSF, registered in France as a non-profit association, has provided over $2 million in free translations to humanitarian organizations like Medecins sans frontières / Doctors without Borders, Medecins du Monde, Action Against Hunger, AIDES Organization, Ashoka, Unicef and Handicap International. In 2010 Translators without Borders was registered in the United States as a 501 (c) 3 (non-profit) corporation with headquarters in California.
